Oh, Dear Pumpkin Spice!
First, let me say that I do not know the full extent of the Pumpkin Spice Latte / White Supremacist debate in the states. Quite frankly, just the title sounds extremely petty and ridiculous to me. I just wanted to chime in with some thoughts about this dear little fall friend of mine.
Secondly, I will never defend white (or any other colour) supremacist. God has created us all equal, and He has a SUPREME love for each man, woman, boy, girl that has or will ever walk the face of the earth.

And finally, I will always defend the Pumpkin Spice Latte. As an American girl, who nearly six years ago gave up the luxury of a Pumpkin Spice Latte during the fall, I can tell you how each autumn that the memory of said drink calls to me. I think of it as I put on my Pumpkin flavoured chapstick I bought while in the states last Christmas. I dream of it longingly as I wish for a “drive through” Starbucks in a world of walk everywhere cafés.

It is a beverage. No more. No less. I would give it up again in a heartbeat to reach just one more person who hasn’t heard the gospel. However, I guarantee you that if I were in the states right now, I would enjoy every sip of that sweet savoury drink as many times as I could before it went out of season once again.
This one is for you, dear Pumpkin Spice. I will defend you till the end!
